Luxury Cape Namibia Route

OVERVIEW

This is the perfect 2-3 week road trip for Capetonians looking for a winter holiday adventure, and those wishing to experience the dramatic changes in scenery from the Cape to Northern Namibia. The route winds north of Cape town through the Cedarberg mountains, across the orange river to the Fish River canyon. You are then lucky enough to drive through the Namib desert, one of the oldest deserts in the world, to the skeleton coast then into the Erongo Mountains. You hand in your car in Windhoek, or return to Cape Town, stopping off in the Kalahari desert en route south.

EXPERIENCES

Explore the ancient Bushman paintings in the beautiful Cedarberg mountains north of Cape Town. Canoe down the Orange River through the beautiful Richtersveld National Park. Marvel at the awesome Fish River Canyon at sunrise, and feel the wind in your hair riding across the dunes in the Namib desert. Float above Sossusvlei in a hot air balloon at sunrise, or climb the enormous red dunes! Enjoy Kayaking with seals in Swakopmund, and learn about their ancient culture with the San themselves.
